Bob Danis

Owner & President

Bob has been flying for the better part of his life. It was always his favorite thing to do. Luckily he managed to make flying his career, having been with US Airways for 28 years. He always says he hasn't worked a day in his life as a result. "It's never work if you love what you do".Bob found retirement mindnumbingly dull, so he opened Lincoln Flight Center in 1997 to share his love of flying with others.

Henri Gautschi

Chief Flight Instructor

Henri, a native of Switzerland, took his first flying lesson on September 5 1962 in a DeHavilland CHIPMUNK in Biggin Hill, England. After earning his Private Pilot certificate, he obtained more flight training in France and Switzerland. In late 1965, Henri moved to the US, where he found flying far less expensive, and where he was able to aquire the Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructors certificates by 1973 at Hanscom Field in Bedford Mass. In May of 1974, Henri moved to Rhode Island and has become a "permanent fixture" at North Central State Airport where he obtained his Airline Transport Certificate and Seaplane rating, and where he has given more than 6000 hours of flight training. Henri still enjoys every single flight, since there are no two flights alike and every flight presents new challenges and insights.
